friends or business contacts.

Press Release Body:
Oakland, Calif. May 16, 2008 -- Upfuse, Inc. recently launched a new Website that
incorporates a 6istinct blend of features to create a global social marketplace. The
California-based www.upfuse.com is currently available in 11 different languages,
245 countries and more than 100 world currencies. "The uniqueness of Upfuse is it
combines social networking with a marketplace," said Stefan Gerard, CEO.

"The major e-commerce sites today focus primarily on selling items. While this is
good, the user is somewhat left out of the transaction and the fun which shopping
should be. With Upfuse, users can buy/sell their items and make friends or business
contacts."

To celebrate its launch, Upfuse is holding several drawings to give away nine iPod
shuffles and a chance to win an Apple MacBook Air laptop. Winning entries will be
chosen from three categories: Most Active User, Most Active Buyer and Most Voted
Profile Page. The winners-who will be selected May 20, June 20 and July 20-will be
posted on Upfuse and notified by email.

Privately funded by a group of experienced investors, Upfuse offers a broad range of
features and capabilities. For example, Upfuse buyers can easily purchase items in
their local community and around the global simultaneously on Upfuse. "A buyer can
securely purchase items in his local community or anywhere in the world on Upfuse,"
Gerard explained. "Our secure shopping cart works with multiple currencies and
dynamically converts any world currency to U.S. dollars."

Unlike other social networking sites, Upfuse doesn't require users to register. So
visitors can securely acquire items on the site without having to create an account.
However, having an account is beneficial because it allows users to create a profile
for managing items, to make friends or build a business network, and to securely
store their personal credit card information on Upfuse for future purchases.

Upfuse users can also sell an unlimited number of items on the site. Those who opt
to set up an account can create a personal page to promote the items they are
selling. Users can sell anywhere-locally and internationally. And no listing fees
are required.

When purchases are made, Upfuse escrows the payments and remains at the center of
each secure transaction. Essentially, here's how it works: When an item is purchased
on Upfuse, the buyer actually pays Upfuse. Then after the seller has sent the item
to the buyer-and the buyer is happy with the purchase-Upfuse disburses the funds to
the seller. "So once an item is bought, it\'s our responsibility to ensure the buyer
pays for what he/she purchased and the seller gets his/her money for the item,"
Gerard said. "So many times, I\'ve purchased an item online and I didn\'t like what I
received. I want people to come to Upfuse and have no fear in buying or selling
their items and, most importantly, have fun."

Other key features of Upfuse's social marketplace are sharing and voting. Users can
share items they have for sale on other websites with the Upfuse community. They can
also vote on the items listed on Upfuse, which can enhance their sales. "Voting
gives credibility to an item," explained Gerard. "If an item gets high votes,
there's a higher chance that the item will be sold."

Since its launch last month, Upfuse has enjoyed steady growth and continues to grow
daily. It has more than 50 registered users a day and 5,000 unique daily visitors
from around the globe. The Upfuse model is not limited to just buyers and sellers,
but advertisers, sponsors and investors can also benefit from Upfuse\'s growth.
